Pier Costantini è un fotografo italiano che vive tra Milano e Brescia, territori che alimentano il suo immaginario visivo fatto di memoria, transizione e umanità. Entrato nel mondo della fotografia attraverso un percorso personale non lineare — una vita tra musica, studi giuridici e una forte spinta autodidatta — ha costruito uno stile riconoscibile che unisce ritratto, reportage, moda e un’estetica analogica, intima e nostalgica.

Il suo lavoro nasce da una ricerca emotiva e sociale: Pier usa l’immagine come un dialogo, un ponte tra esperienze personali e collettive, tra il passato e ciò che sta per accadere. Le sue fotografie raccontano relazioni, fragilità, luoghi che cambiano e persone che attraversano momenti sospesi. Ogni scatto è un rituale di osservazione, un tentativo di colmare distanze e trasformare il vissuto in un racconto visivo capace di toccare chi guarda.

Oggi lavora come fotografo freelance, muovendosi tra progetti editoriali, ritratti, storytelling visivo e collaborazioni creative. E’ rappresentato dalle agenzie Contrasto e Mondadori Frame. La sua ricerca continua è quella di restituire autenticità e di creare immagini che non siano solo da guardare, ma da sentire.

Con i suoi progetti “CIBO” e “01.01” è stato finalista al Premio Voglino - Italy Photo Award 2018 e 2019.

Pier Costantini is an Italian photographer who lives between Milan and Brescia, landscapes that feed his visual imagination shaped by memory, transition, and humanity. He entered the world of photography through a non-linear personal path — a life spent between music, legal studies, and a strong self-taught drive — and has developed a recognizable style that blends portraiture, reportage, fashion, and an intimate, nostalgic analogue aesthetic.

His work stems from emotional and social inquiry: Pier uses images as a form of dialogue, a bridge between personal and collective experience, between the past and what is about to unfold. His photographs tell stories of relationships, fragility, changing places, and people moving through suspended moments. Each shot is a ritual of observation, an attempt to bridge distances and transform lived experience into a visual narrative capable of resonating with the viewer.

Today he works as a freelance photographer, moving between editorial projects, portraiture, visual storytelling, and creative collaborations. He is represented by the agencies Contrasto and Mondadori Frame. His ongoing pursuit is to convey authenticity and to create images that are not only seen, but felt.
With his projects "CIBO" and "01.01" he was a finalist at the Voglino Prize - Italy Photo Award 2018 and 2019.
